Canon Expands Color A4 Portfolio

MELVILLE, NY, May 7, 2019 – As enterprises continue to
evolve and equip their employees with the best workflow solutions available, Canon
U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, announces the addition of
the new imageRUNNER ADVANCE C475iF III Series and new Color imageCLASS MF746Cdw
and LBP664Cdw models to its color A4 product portfolio. The expansion of the
color A4 portfolio presents to customers and channel partners a complete,
cohesive lineup to complement the Company’s strong A3 portfolio.

“The evolution of our diverse
A4 product portfolio reflects our strong dedication to deliver a cohesive fleet
implementation for the offices of the future,” says Shinichi Yoshida, executive
vice president and general manager, Canon U.S.A. Inc. “As market demand for the
A4 segment increases, these models will broaden the available product selection
so that customers may choose ones that best suit their specific needs and
applications, while also benefiting from working with fleets comprised of
products that share a number of common characteristics.”

The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE
C475iF III series provides a great solution for small businesses or workgroups
within large fleet environments that require color printing, copying and
scanning on letter- and legal-sized paper. The series consists of the
imageRUNNER ADVANCE C475iF III (up to 50 pages per minute) and the imageRUNNER
ADVANCE C475iFZ III (up to 50 pages per minute), which includes an internal

These models incorporate
Canon’s MEAP platform and build on the success of the third generation
imageRUNNER ADVANCE third-edition platform, featuring Unified Firmware Platform
version 3.8. With various security features integrated at the design level, the
third-edition models can help users limit unauthorized access to organizational
assets, while maintaining their reliability and workflow efficiency. Both
models come standard with a single-pass duplexing automatic document feeder for
impressive scanning speeds of up to 100ipm (duplex, 300dpi).

In addition, the new Color
imageCLASS MF746Cdw multifunction printer and Color imageCLASS LBP664Cdw single
function printer both offer high-quality imaging, minimal maintenance,
efficient print speeds of up to 28 ppm in both color and black-and-white, and a
five-inch color touchscreen made to deliver an intuitive user experience. Both
new models support the simple, customized device platform, Application Library,
which incorporates four additional features onto the imageCLASS MF746Cdw:

  • Name and Scan: Assign a name (keyword, ID, date & time) to
a sent file to assist in sorting into the appropriate storage location.
  • Language (also available on LBP664Cdw): Change the default
language on the printer’s screen display.
  • Copy (Enhance Text): Darken light-density text on originals during
    copying.
  • Fax and Store: Press the Fax and Store button to send a fax to
